Shri A. Venkateswara Rao is founder of Southern Travels Pvt. Ltd is. He hails from a middle-class family in a remote village, Prasangulapad near Ongole, Prakasm District in Andhra Pradesh. He used to walk 15Kms a day to go from village to school and back as there was no proper travel facilities. With a determination to become an IAS Officer he studied and achieved 1st Class in M.A. Economics. He came to Delhi to write IAS examinations. He worked with National Council of Applied Economics Research, New Delhi ( NCAER) and the Union Ministry of Commerce, New Delhi.
